In essence we believe just as singing and writing are gifts, God manifest his gift of healing through Drs as well. We thank God for the Dr, because he can give the diagnosis, but God is the ultimate healer. Pple die even though they have followed the Doctors instructions, but we still should follow them; and when it’s your time, it’s your time.
you can’t blame the … you can’t blame the authors of the bible too much for blaming disease on sin and whatnot because itsnot like there was any medical treatment alternative of which to speak… And the placebo effect was probably strong enough to actually work better than most of the other cures they could have devised with the given technology they had. I know its a different story today though…

Thanks for pointing … Thanks for pointing this out John, this is a bigger problem then people think and it can get quite dangerous I speak if my experience with faith healing on my channel. I will also be protesting outside the headquarters of the Christan Scientist in Boston in the near future. We need to pass a law forbidding parents to deny a kid medical treatment for any reason, including religious. If an adult makes this choice then we need to take custody of them based on mental health status.
I had a relative … I had a relative with cancer who refused treatment believing God would heal him. He died, but it did not seem to shake his family’s faith.

It was difficult for me to let go of the delusion of heaven, where I would see my loved ones again, but considering the dangerous dogma that accompanies that heavenly delusion, it had to go. (grin)
Maybe if they didnt believe in heaven, they would treasure each day more!
