    The Q Magazine …
The Q Magazine elected it no. 67 among the best albums of all time (so I guess we’re “on the right way” appreciating this album so much…).

    I know they’re …
I know they’re heavily left wing in general, but I was saying that this kind of political correctness, which they’re criticising, is generally ociated quite heavily with leftist ideas as well as right wing ones. that’s leftist in the ‘liberal’ sense, not as in traditional trade unions or anything.

also, if you think about a song like ‘archives of pain’, some of richey’s views in particular were really reactionary. on the death penalty for instance

    They’re a left-wing …
They’re a left-wing band yes, but the song seems to be attacking some right-wing politics “doctors arrested for euthanasia” is one. “Systemised atrocity..” refers to English neglect of the Welsh being considered OK ” as long as bilingual signs on view” (meaning street signs with welsh and english names on them).

  • brodftw:

    Surely more like …
    Surely more like left wing?

  • jmsynge:

    The only song …
The only song against right-wing political correctness and therefore the best.

  • yungnome:

    most underrated …
    most underrated band…..ever.
