I’ve wondered that myself. When I got saved, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit, and it was the most incredible thing that ever happened to me! I would love to feel like I did when I first got saved! I know I still have the Holy Spirit, but I’m sure that we can ask God for "more" of His Spirit-I know that He would be more than happy to pour His Spirit out on us! References :
Dang man. Why you so greedy?… Save some holy spirit for everyone else. Do you not think that I after a long day at work, I would also like some holy spirit? You know what you are? Your a holy spirit glutton. References :
Is it possible to ask for more of the Holy Spirit? no we receive the holy spirit completely at salvation
After being baptized, in the Spirit can we lose it? no we never lose our salvation the holy spirit
Is the Holy Spirit something that is present in us at all times or must we call on the Spirit?
its in us at all times
My main question, if it makes sense can one seek more of the Holy Spirit?
our salvation is eternal
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. References :

YOU DON’T NEED MORE WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT.
but it’s a matter of you allowing Him to control your life, or not. References :
We can always ask for more of God. And being baptized in the Spirit, we are always baptized.
But if we do commit fornication, idolatry, adultery, then we are not filled with the Holy Spirit. But we are still born of God & sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise unto the day of redemption. But trying to do these types of sin, the Holy Spirit will not do them with us.
The Holy Spirit is One Spirit, but the gifts are different. So the gifts are of different Holy Angels. And the gifts can’t be received unless one is baptized in the Holy Spirit. That is when one can receive the gifts. The gifts are a sign. And they are many and various.
Read Acts, 1&2Corinthians on the gifts.
When God promises to never leave us nor forsake us. That no one or thing can take us out of His hands, it is because the Holy Spirit has sealed us unto the day of redemption when we first believed. And so the spiritual birth is Eternal Life. And to abide in Christ is abiding in Eternal Security. But if a Christian tries to abide in a past sin that is uncompatable with the Holy Spirit, one isn’t filled with the Holy Spirit. Instead there is a lot of conviction and emotional termoil.
In Jude, Build up your most holy faith, praying in the Spirit. So just pray in the Spirit first thing in the morning & follow after the Spirits direction throughout the day.
Sing praise songs of wanting more of God. Set your heart to understand things the way the Lord can give you understanding. References :
There are seven gifts of the Holy Spirit and you can ask the Lord to bless you with any of them. If you turn away from God and start living a life of sin again, you are held accountable for that just like any other sinner. A sin is a sin it doesn’t matter who you are. Being saved is not a license to sin. We will make mistakes and the Holy Spirit is there to guide you if you let it. However if you turn back to sin you are making your own choice and not seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Someone that says they are saved and go around cursing, drinking, doing drugs, hating and fighting are not truly saved and aren’t fooling anyone but themselves. When you are saved the point of Jesus washing away your sins with His precious blood is the old you is washed away and the new life in Christ has risen as He did from the dead. You don’t want the things of the world anymore. I am not saying you don’t have dreams or want beautiful things we all do and if you truly seek Him they will be added to you abundantly. I am saying you no longer have the desire to satisfy yourself with sin cursing, drinking, fornication, homosexuality, stealing, drugs, etc. Jesus and a life against the Bible don’t mix. He knows our intentions and our hearts. References : Bible, personal experience
