In the Fire Conferences, Pastor Benny taught on the subject of Holy Spirit-led prayer. Pastor Benny shared important keys on how to pray:

Pray unto God—Acts 12:5
The prayer that has power is the prayer that is offered unto God. Prayer demands a face-to-face encounter with God. The Holy Spirit must bring me to God. I cannot come on my own.

Prayer must be constant—Acts 12:5
We must intensely stretch out to God. We are commanded to pray without ceasing. Groanings point to constant prayer.

We are to wait upon Him.
Dont say a word until He touches you. Dont make any selfish requests or ask for anything. Just wait in silence.

This is track #4 on singer/actress DeLeon Sheffield’s (nee Richards) “Here in Me” album for Arrow Records, originally released on September 11, 2007. Guitarist Stanley Brown is credited with the writing, instrumentation and production of this beautiful psalm, but the Most High’s sometimes gentle strength is undeniably the primary contributor here in my opinion.

Growing up, her “You’re Not Your Own” was a vocal request and virtue reminder to me from one of my spiritual mothers. Many years later, after having forgotten or stubbornly disregarded her instruction in the name of ‘living’, this particular song entered to help correct and remind me that true “Life” is in the Most High. As said mentor, her ailing mother (transcended on 1.1.11), the featured psalmbody and I have wandered in our own ways and aspire to walk better with/in the Word, it is an honor and pleasure to introduce YouTube to its first, public taste of this healing work.

It takes forever to get there and I thank God for the opportunity to minister the Word to these precious Carib Indians. This is a Tuesday morning time of Worship in the Word. They truly love and live for the Lord even though life is very difficult. They go without many of the things we take for granted, such as fresh water, plumbing, electricity, and proper medical care. The pastor, who is praising God in the front row with the green shirt, learned to read by reading the Bible. Amazing! How dedicated are we in reading the Word of God. This worship acknowledges the importance of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

1. It is of the” highest importance” from the standpoint of worship that we decide whether the Holy Spirit is a divine person worthy to receive adoration, our faith and our love or simply an influence emanating from God. If the Holy Spirit is a divine person and we do not act on it we are robbing a divine being of the love and adoration which are His due. [The cults deny the Deity and Divine Personhood of the Holy Spirit}

2. The Holy Spirit is a personal being, infinitely wise, infinitely holy, infinitely tender, who is to “get a hold of us “and use us.

3. It is of the” highest experiential importance” that we know the Holy Spirit as a person. Many can testify to the blessing that came into their lives when they came to know the Holy Spirit.

Lastly, dear friends, we” must reverence and stand in holy awe” of the Holy Spirit. 90 times He is called holy. The Holy Spirit is “perfect, sinless, and totally seperate” from all the deflies and pollutes the soul of man. He hates sin with a perfect divine hatred and we must allow Him to work that hatred of sin in us. Many in the church only crave for the power of the Holy Spirit, but lack the fruit of the Holy Spirit. They don’t crave His divine holiness in their lives. Remember His holy character, along with the manifestation of that holy character in our lives is what matters most. Dare we think that we can move in His power and at the same time compromise with sin. The scriptures reveal the Holy Spirit to be God, with” all the defining characteristics of Diety.”
