In the Fire Conferences, Pastor Benny taught on the subject of Holy Spirit-led prayer. Pastor Benny shared important keys on how to pray:

Pray unto God—Acts 12:5
The prayer that has power is the prayer that is offered unto God. Prayer demands a face-to-face encounter with God. The Holy Spirit must bring me to God. I cannot come on my own.

Prayer must be constant—Acts 12:5
We must intensely stretch out to God. We are commanded to pray without ceasing. Groanings point to constant prayer.

We are to wait upon Him.
Dont say a word until He touches you. Dont make any selfish requests or ask for anything. Just wait in silence.

Here is a video recap of the 38th Annual GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) Holiday Invitational. The event featured some of the top talent North Carolina has to offer. In the last day of action Rice High School’s Shane Southwell hit an off balance jumper to beat out Kinston High for the Shavlik Randolph Invitational. The night game featured United Faith Christian Academy against Word of God. UFCA came out on top, 71-59.

The 2nd meeting between Raleigh, North Carolina’s Word of God Christian Academy vs. Ravenscroft School. The game was played February 4th, 2009 at Ravenscroft School in front of a packed crowd of over 1200. Ravenscroft won the first meeting at Word of God 68-59.
